Porter Pickups Launch New Website and Pickups

USA based guitar pickup manufacturer Porter Pickups has announced the launch of a new website, plus the release of new hand-wound pickups.
The new Porter Pickups website has been launched. They’ve been working away to provide you with a better viewing experience and more content on their pickups as they move towards 2012. Now there’s even more product pages, clips, videos and content for everything Porter.
Blender Humbuckers Released
The Porter Blender Humbuckers have also been released. They feature 4 different wires (one per bobbin) of the set making it a nice “Blend” of different sounds.
The neck pickup of the set could be thought of as a half classic and half Anthem PAF, while the bridge position uses the same two wires, but in a smaller gauge for more output and punch. Find out more about the Blender Humbuckers…
Vintage Custom Strat Released
The new vintage custom Strat set has been on a demo tour for the past few months, and now it’s available through the Porter Pickups website.
This is a completely new Strat set with even height and bevelled magnets, grey bottom bobbins, and a custom coil height. On top of that, they’ve added a steel baseplate to the bridge to tame some of the harshness and retain some bass. Read more about the Vintage Custom Strat set from Porter Pickups.
