I just started a new project, a duo with a female vocalist and realised that my trusty old Eko Ranger with under-saddle Piezo and no on board pre-amp was just not up to the job. I was looking for a nice, meaty overdrive. I was totally hooked on getting a TS808 but then my trusty pedal expert friend from Guitar Center, John L. showed me the wonderful Green Rhino. The parameters are super responsive so can use this for softer overdrives OR heavy overdrive.

Quite a funny story why I ended up with this guitar… about ten or so years ago I had been out on the booze all night and was making my way home on the train about 7 in the morning.
Bizarrely, on my travels I bumped in to my bass player from the band we play in, who was just finishing his night shift. It was a gorgeous summers day so we decided the best thing to do was meet back up later and spend it in the beer garden of a pub.
