Being a regular user of Bare Knuckle Pickups kit, when I wanted to build a Telecaster from parts, the BG Flat 50 set was an obvious choice for the sound I was after – traditional, with more than a little oomph, and a little Stratty in the neck pickup.

I’m using this microphone because I wanted a better sound from my jazz guitar than just the pickup. By researching different techniques for amplifying acoustic guitars, I found that using a small mic plus a pickup gives me a much broader range of tonal possibilities resulting in a better sound.
