Mike Dawes – Pure Guitar Talent

There are many, many talented guitarists across the globe, some of which will (unfortunately) never break into the mainstream.

Running GuitarJar.co.uk is great fun, as I’m often exposed to guitar talent from weird and wonderful places around the world, and sometimes, a small number of guitarists literally stop me in my tracks.

One such guitarist is Mike Dawes. I was fortunate to watch Mike perform at the Bournemouth Folk Club some time ago. I turned up to attend the event knowing nothing of Mike.

I literally fancied a night out, a couple of beers and to chill out, listening to some acoustic music. Little did I know that I would end up chatting to one of the finest guitar talents currently residing in the UK.

I was pleased to find out recently that Mike is currently releasing a new album entitled “What Just Happened?”.

If you have a spare couple of quid in your pocket, I thoroughly recommend supporting Mike and buying the album.
