Fender Mustang Guitar Review

Fender Mustang Guitar Review

I got this guitar when I was 15 years old and at the time I was such a super fan of Nirvana that I was either gonna buy a Mustang or a Fender Jaguar.

…I wish it had a thicker sound like at least like a Tele…

I found it at a local guitar pawn shop. A good find, but the pickups are super thin sounding and I’m having problems with the wiring and just not getting a thick enough sound.

Features:

Whammy bar and dynamic tremolo bridge. Fiesta red paint job. Made in Japan.

Ease of use:

It’s a smooth guitar 🙂

Sound Quality:

Rad. It just sounds super thin, I wish it had a thicker sound like at least like a Tele.

Reliability:

One time I was playing a show and one of the tuning pegs stopped working… needless to say I played the whole set without using the B string 😛

Overall Rating:

Fun guitar, but is breaking apart after 5 years of use.
