I stumbled upon an interesting eBook from Adam Smale that promises a “revolutionary new way to learn scales on guitar with 70% less work and sound amazing doing it“.
I’m often cynical when it comes to guitar playing and eBooks (and the 1000’s of them out there…) but I’m actually quite taken with this.
The new eBook from Adam Smale, “New Approach to Scales for Guitarists: A Practical Modern Direction“, teaches an interesting approach to playing guitar scales.
Points of interest include 2 basic patterns all standard scales, which ultimately aids with learning and memorizing. Also, even if you’re fairly a competent, the eBook provides a fresh approach to playing scales, helping to unlock the fretboard further.
More importantly, the eBook helps guitarists to understand scale melody against chord structure.
Even if you’re a well seasoned player, it may be worth a look to help you progress further or, if you’re like me, inspire you to get out of the “rut” of playing the same thing, day in, day out…
