Visual Sound release the Time Bandit

posted by

Famed effects pedal manufacturer Visual Sound releases the Time Bandit – a pedal that converts audio click tracks into a tap tempo signal.

It’s no secret that I’m a fan of Visual Sound, having owned the Jekyll & Hyde Overdrive and H2O Echo pedals.

The Time Bandit looks really useful – even though I’ve never really experimented or used tap tempo delays before, I can instantly see why this small pedal is going to be a hit. Such a great idea converting audio click tracks to a tap tempo signal.

Check out the official blurb from Visual Sound:

While not an effect pedal, the Time Bandit converts audio click tracks into a tap tempo signal that will work with any delay pedal having an external tap tempo jack.

It also has a built in BPM generator with a corresponding LED display and large knob, to send BPM signals to delay pedals.

Gotta love the Duesenberg used in the video!
