Wimborne Guitar Festival – August 8-10th 2014

Guitar Jar Magazine is pleased to announce the arrival of a new UK based guitar festival.

Details are emerging of a new guitar festival to be located in the historic market town of Wimborne Minster, Dorset, during the summer of 2014.

Full details have yet to be released, but it’s probably a good idea to put the dates of August 8-10th 2014 in your calendar for what promises to be an exciting weekend of diverse and creative performances and workshops.

At this stage, you can expect to see an evening of Acoustic guitar playing on Friday 8th August, followed throughout the weekend by a wide range of workshops/sessions led by many industry favourites including Melvyn Hiscock, Simon Wood, Will Mcnicoll, Isobell Thatcher and many more.

Guitar Jar Magazine will be providing press releases and updates up until the festival weekend, so please return to the website regularly for the latest news.

  • I am in a Band that works regularly in Wimborne. How do we get involved in this? We are BAGGA BLUZE and you can find us on YouTube.

    • Hi Ric, I can pass your info to the event organisers.

I’m aware the event organisers are in the throws of sorting a Facebook page out for the event at the moment and Guitar Jar Magazine will keep people updated too.

      Hope this helps.
