Northern Guitar Shows Ltd are pleased to announce a brand new guitar event for 2012 – the North East Guitar Show will take place on Sunday 28th October from 10am to 4.00pm at Newcastle racecourse, Gosforth Park, Newcastle upon Tyne.

Northern Guitar Shows LogoThis prestige location provides superb facilities with space for more than 100 exhibitors and has the advantage of easy access and free parking.

The show is a unique opportunity to buy, sell and trade new, vintage and second hand guitars, amps, effects and accessories. There will be bargains and special show deals. Free appraisals of instruments and amps will be available.

The live stage will feature high energy rock and blues from the Gav Coulson group featuring vintage and Fret-King guitars along with fantastic jazz swing guitarist Anth Purdy presented by Wienbrock Amps and acoustic singer/songwriter, Ben Hughes.

Local retail giants, JG Windows, will feature Roland/Boss effects and guitar products on the main stage demonstrated by ace session guitarist Lee Wrathe together with a special presentation showcasing the new Roland HD3 electronic drum kit. On the JG Windows’ stand there will be workshops and demos of Blackstar Amps and effects by product specialist, Sam Hirst.

The event is sponsored by John Hornby Skewes, JG Windows, Fret-King guitars, Guitar Trader, Vintage Guitars, HK Audio and Wienbrock Amps.

The show promises to be a treat for any guitar enthusiast.
