Fender Roadworn 50’s Stratocaster Review

I have always been a fan of Stratocaster style guitars. From the neck’s playability, to the versatility in the electronics, and pickups.

…All in all if you like Stratocaster’s, I highly recommend checking this out…

Fender Roadworn 50s StratocasterMy love for Stratocaster’s started when I first played one I had bought off of a friend for $75 (he didn’t know what he was selling me at the time).

I eventually sold that guitar, and have regretted it ever since. I was looking to replace a cheap guitar I had, and traded it in for this Roadworn Strat.

This guitar plays like a dream smooth quick neck. The radius is easy on someone with small hands like me. If you have really large hands you might have trouble chording, but otherwise it’s perfect.

The finish is resonant and not tone-silencing like the polyurethane plastic finishes these days.

The pickups are classic vintage Strat sounding, but have a lot more output than standard Strats with ceramic pickups.

All in all if you like Strats I highly recommend checking this out.

Features:

Alder body, Soft V maple neck and fretboard, Tex-Mex single coil pickups, vintage tremolo, vintage style tuners, 1 ply aged pickguard, aged knob covers, and selector switch cover.

Ease of use:

Smoothest guitar I’ve ever played.

Sound Quality:

The sound is unmistakably one of the most popular guitar sounds in history you can get a multitude of different tones out of this guitar.

Reliability:

Strat’s have proven reliability for the past 60 some years and its already dinged and scratched up so you feel more comfortable with it.

Tuning reliability is great. It is a Stratocaster, and vintage tremolo’s are notorious for going out of tune unless properly set up and even then sometimes still bad.

Overall Rating:

I couldn’t be happier.
