National Chrome Chicken-foot Cone Resonator Guitar Review

I first fell in love with this guitar when I saw it on the front of cover ‘Brothers in Arms’ by Dire Straits.

I was obviously an impressionable 8 year old at the time and 20 years on I bought a great copy.

£207 from eBay – what a bargain – but I can only dream of picking like Knopfler ‘Romeo and Juliet’ using such a piece of equipment.

She sits pretty reflecting the light around our living room and I spend a while now and then wiping the finger marks off her! 🙂

Features:

Chrome plated and rosewood neck.

Ease of use:

Easy to sound better than you are, although strings are a ’10’ and hard to press down on the board.

Sound Quality:

The BEST!

Reliability:

101%.

Overall Rating:

Great money and pose value.
