We have got Stan (from Stan’s Blues Nights) to run the Saturday evening in the Allendale – this is going to be a blues jamming workshop where Stan is going to tell you everything you need to know to be able to join in one of his Jam nights at local bars and establishments around the area. If you get a chance please check out one of Stan’s blues nights what he does is really inspiring and is a space for musicians to perform.
On the Sunday evening there will be show in the main hall of the Allendale, the headline band is Willie and the Bandits.
Willie may also run a workshop and Alex Roberts (who in addition to be a really charming person is a fantastic guitar player) is planning some workshops and will perform on the Sunday evening.
Over the last couple of months I have been lucky to meet a gentleman called Jared who is assembling people who have or are making their own guitars and people who have guitar collections. This will be an amazing thing for the festival and will tie in so well with Melvyn Hiscock’s workshop.
