  • MXR Phase 90 because it is a cool sound to begin with, but it made Eddie Van Halen’s sound that much better.

  • My Sparkle Drive. It just makes everything sound better.

  • Fav pedal is Crowther Hotcake. It just adds that certain “something” to my rig. Great OD pedal works awesome as a clean/dirty boost.

  • It has to be the Boss TU-3 Chromatic Tuner Pedal! Without essential kit like this anything could happen!

  • My favourite effect pedal is Dunlop Crybaby Slash Wah. I love Slash’s tone and this wah wah gives me exactly what I want. The best hing is that it’s got that ‘juicy’ Slash’s distortion and volume and gain controls.

  • I use the Boss Bluesdrive II.
Maybe because it’s the only one I own, waiting for a great reverb…

  • OMG. Is beautiful, is amazing, I love, and I trust.
    \OOOOOO/ Si vous plaît.

  • Favorite effect pedal is the simplest: Ernie Ball volume pedal.

  • Dunlop Crybaby Wah Wah. love the effect it gives, i use it at every gig

  • My favorite pedal is my Electro-Harmonix LPB 1 boost pedal, it makes my awesome sounding amp sound even um…… awesomer!

  • i guess it depends on which guitar i am using . . . right now, i’m really digging the guyatone harmonic distortion with a vintage mahogany gibson les paul with burstbuckers 1 & 2. it’s supposed to be modeled after the first Big Muff. However, I’ve never heard a Muff like this. Very nice distorted, yet sweet leads. Beautiful interval rythmn patterns where the distortion almost seems to float above the notes. Very reminiscent of glam rock like TREX and David Bowie 70s.

  • The Effectrode Tube Overdrive Pedal. It is literally a tube amp in a pedal. It doesn’t run in starved plate 12 volt mode either. It runs a step transformer inside so it gets true tube amp voltage 300 volts. This thing can go from creamy blues to screaming saturation with a turn of a knob. It runs 3 tubes and you can swap out the tubes for different sounds and an endless variety of tones.

  • Mutron-III is my favorite pedal

  • My favourite pedal would have to be the Boss DS-1. Why? Simply because its the best distortion I’ve ever heard. The tone it gives along with its fine distortion makes it a definite when I play. The Boss DS-1 – Fantastic Distortion! Along with lushious mids and booming basses, the trebles and tone through this pedal make me spontaneously combust… in my special place.

  • My favourite pedal is my Proco rat 2, I love it because when I turn it on the walls start to fall apart and it adds a lot of tone and mood. I should add a “W” and an “H” to it. turning the Rat into Wrath.

  • I really want these.

  • Crybaby Wah from the 60’s, nothing can beat it. The holy grail of Pedals.

  • Danelectro Fab Overdrive. I bought it for $5 on ebay, and it does the job. What more could I ask for?

  • My Favorite effect has to be either distortion/overdrive or wah. Obviously the distortion/overdive kicks in when I solo, but the wah I use for a wider range. Besides using it for the guitar, I like to switch roles of instruments when I jame with friends, I mute the strings and chuck a lot, making the guitar a percussion instrument and my friend takes his drums and turns that into a lead instrument.

  • Still fond of my old MXR Phase 90. Still going strong.

  • I would have to say my Line 6 Floor Pod Plus. Because of its versatility i make many great sounds and even download them. If an effect processor doesnt count then i would say my line 6 uber metal pedal. Its a great pedal i can get that classic rock fuzz or heavy metal distortion out of it.

  • My favorite effect pedal as a bass player would have to be the digitech line of bass pedals, i persoanlly really enjoy the bp-50 and bp-90

  • Favorite pedal is my Tech 21 VT Bass. This pedal is basically an Ampeg emulator. With it you can get the sounds of a classic bass flip-top or SVT through any amp. However, it also can add OD and distortion, as well as just a subtle “push” of the signal. It is my one “always on” pedal.

It’s looking forward to getting picked on by these novel picks!

  • I like my wah wah as my baby daughter loves music and when she starts to cry. I say it’s time to get the wah wah out. It has been known to settle her

  • My favorite effect pedal is my MXR Phase 90. I love phaser, and couldn’t do without it. It sounds amazing with cleans.

  • My very old Big Muff. Things gotta be 30+ years old and still sounds great.

  • Hmmm.. Well my favourite effects “pedal” is my fingers.

Give EVH anybody’s rig and he will still sound like EVH.

50% of your tone is in your fingers, and another 25% can be found in your volume control and your tone control. Love that Rory Gallagher “wah” effect that he used to do with his tone control.

So, no favourite pedal as such. 🙂

  • My favorite is my Boss feedbacker

It makes people she WTF? when i hold a note then solo over it

it has gotten me laid also

  • My favorite pedal is a chorus – I love the effect!

  • I probably rely on my Boss Octave OC3 more than any other pedal in my chain. I have it set to add a heavy bottom end and depth to my low end. I recently received a Way Huge Aqua Puss and dig it, but I haven’t found the “perfect” setting yet.

  • I love a Blues Driver…when my son plays! Something about the tone makes this one astounding. Me? I’m acoustic all the way (even the best pedals don’t help when I play electric!)

  • Picks look great! Would love to share them with my kids who also play – come’on man PICK ME!

  • My favorite pedal is the delay/echo. It can be used in so many ways. slapback, rhythmic timed repeats, soft slow pretty repeats, Psychadelic multitaps. It makes all other effects sound better and doesn”t mess with your tone. Used to play with just a compressor for sustain on solos and an electro-harmonix memory man. Hit infinite repeats and crank the time knob up and down and people would go nuts.

  • barber pedals rock…..so i better win

  • I love combining delay and chorus settings on my Visual Sound H2O V2.
