Accusound announce the AMA-1 Acoustic Amplifier

Acoustic guitar players rejoice! A new hand-built acoustic amplifier from British based company Accusound has been announced.

The AMA-1 looks like a really interesting bit of kit. Accusound, known traditionally for their state of the art microphones, has produced an acoustic guitar amplifier that’s packed full of features, whilst maintaining their high quality reputation.

Features include two identical inputs allowing two instruments, or one instrument and voice, to be amplified.

16 varieties of reverb, 3 band tone controls and parametric on both channels plus the ability to use outboard effects and XLR or ¼” jack leads.

On top of all that, phantom power is available through the XLR inputs.

Apparently, it’s going to make a fairly hefty dent on the wallet, but could be the ticket for awesome live acoustic tones.
